Precept Bible Studies is a method of detailed Bible study. By learning how to create a chart of a Bible book, identify key words and phrases, locate cross references, determine settings and context, and  by studying individual words, a passage in the Bible may become  very meaningful. The better we understand God's Word, the more impact in can have in us.

This form of inductive study was developed by Jack and Kay Arthur, who have founded Precept Ministries International. Timberview's Precept classes are conducted using this method.
