God's purpose for The ROCK ministry is for us to model by example to our peers that living a Christian life is exciting and obtainable through discipleship, fellowship, and outreach.

Huddle House Ministry

A Huddle House is a small group of committed Christian students who gather for in-depth study of the Bible on a regular basis in a small-group setting. Led by adult youth leaders, the group participates in prayer, accountability, and a deep, heart-felt examination of the Word as it applies to the students' lives.

Huddle Houses vary from season to season, some meeting throughout the school year, others for only one semester. They meet on various nights of the week, except Tuesday and Wednesday.

The ROCK Student Ministry Team

Applying the principle expressed in Mark 9:35, "Whoever wants to be first must be last of all and servant of all" the ROCK Ministry Team is a group of dedicated core students who are responding to a call from God to step up and accept the challenge of being stretched in their personal and corporate ministries.

If you are being drawn or called toward involvement with this Ministry Team:

• Pray for God's will in this area (servant leadership) of your life
• Contact Pastor Chris and set up an informal interview
• Pray through and fill out the Ministry Team packet/application
• Get the support and signature of your parent(s) or guardian(s)
• Get READY to SERVE!

City Gate Ministry

City Gate is an inner-city church that provides warm meals, clothing, counseling, and spiritual healing. It is an organization staffed mostly by volunteers, with a few paid pastors on staff.

The ROCK's involvement with City Gate

During the 2nd Saturday of each month, the ROCK volunteers help serve breakfast and minister at City Gate. Volunteering is open to all Senior High students and adults. The ROCK also donates most of the clothing and food obtained during the annual holiday drive to City Gate.
